About SC Leisure Limited
SC Leisure is more than a hospitality business—it’s a vision built on passion, experience, and a belief that great pubs are at the heart of every community.
Founded by Shaun, a hospitality professional with over 20 years of hands-on industry experience, the journey began with one simple mission: to bring life back into pubs and create venues that people are proud to call their local.
Shaun’s career started on the front line of hospitality, learning every aspect of the trade—from bar operations and customer service to team leadership, food operations, and venue management. Over two decades, he built not just experience, but a deep understanding of what makes a pub successful: strong leadership, great people, and genuine community spirit.
In 2025, Shaun officially launched SC Pubs Limited, focusing on acquiring and operating pubs with untapped potential. What started as a small but ambitious venture quickly gained momentum. Through hard work, smart partnerships, and a reputation for turning underperforming venues into thriving community locals, the business expanded faster than expected.
As the vision grew beyond pubs alone, the company evolved into SC Leisure Limited—a name that better reflected its wider ambitions in hospitality, community venues, and leisure operations.
Today, SC Leisure primarily operates across the North west of England, where it continues to reopen and transform venues into successful local businesses. From may 2026 the company has also expanded into the North East where Shaun grew up and is now actively exploring opportunities across South Yorkshire as part of its next phase of growth.
